fa دیدگاه دانشجویان رشته دندانپزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شیراز نسبت به رشته تحصیلی و آینده شغلی خود ساير موارد other پژوهشی اصیل Original research article مقدمه: وجود علاقه و انگیزه مثبت نسبت به حرفه و داشتن رضایت درونی ازعوامل موفقیت در هر شغلی است و رضایت شغلی نیز از عوامل اجتماعی تأثیر می‌پذیرد. افزایش تعداد پذیرش دانشجویان دندانپزشکی در سال‌های اخیر سبب افزایش نگرانی دانشجویان این رشته شده است. این مطالعه باهدف بررسی دیدگاه دانشجویان رشته دندانپزشکی در بدو ورود ودر پایان دوره نسبت به آینده شغلی ورشته تحصیلی خود انجام گرفت. روش‌ها: این مطالعه توصیفی – مقطعی برروی 140 دانشجوی رشته دندانپزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شیراز در سال تحصیلی 90-89 با استفاده از پرسشنامه پژوهشگر ساخته انجام شد. سؤالات پرسشنامه در زمینه دیدگاه دانشجویان نسبت به رشته تحصیلی و آینده شغلی‌شان بود. آزمون‌های کولموگروف اسمیرنوف، آنالیز واریانس یک طرفه (ANOVA) و آزمون T در این مطالعه جهت تجزیه و تحلیل اطلاعات به دست آمده مورد استفاده قرار گرفتند. نتایج: میانگین کل نمره به دست آمده از پرسشنامه دیدگاه دانشجویان نسبت به رشته تحصیلی (46/4±97/33) از میانگین نظری این پرسشنامه(27) بالاتر بود، اما میانگین کل نمره حاصل از پرسشنامه دیدگاه دانشجویان نسبت به آینده شغلی‌شان (61/2±42/16) از میانگین نظری این پرسشنامه(18) پایین‌تر بود. بررسی تفاوت نگرش به انتخاب رشته تحصیلی و آینده شغلی دانشجویان بین ترم‌های مختلف تحصیلی، و گروه‌های سنی مختلف، تفاوت معناداری نشان نداد. تفاوت آماری معناداری نسبت به انتخاب رشته تحصیلی بین دانشجویان دختر و پسر وجود نداشت. اما بین دیدگاه دختران و پسران نسبت به آینده شغلی تفاوت آماری معنادار بود (037/0=p). نتیجه‌گیری: پژوهش انجام شده کنونی، حاکی از علاقمندی دانشجویان به رشته تحصیلی‌شان بود در حالی که این دانشجویان دیدگاه مثبتی نسبت به آینده شغلی‌شان نداشتند که بیانگر نگرانی در مورد آینده شغلی‌شان نسبت به این رشته است. توجه به نتایج حاصل از این تحقیق در برنامه‌ریزی‌های آتی می‌تواند افق روشن‌تری از آینده شغلی از نظر بازار کار و اشتغال پیش روی دانشجویان این رشته قرار دهد. Introduction: Interest, motivation, and satisfaction toward job are the factors guarantee the success in occupation. Job satisfaction itself is influenced by social factors. The rising admission rates of dental schools have further increased the anxiety of their students in recent years. This investigation was conducted on dental students to assess their attitude toward future career and the discipline at the time of entrance and graduation. Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out on 140 dental students of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences within academic years 2010-2011 using a questionnaire made by researcher. The items of the questionnaire were about students’ attitude toward their discipline and future career. Data was analyzed by Kolmograph-Smirnove, ANOVA, and t-test. Results: The mean of total scores for the questionnaire related to student’s attitude toward their discipline (33.97+ 4.46) was higher than its theoretical mean score (27). The mean of total scores for the questionnaire related to student’s attitude toward their future career (16.42 +2.61) was lower than its theoretical mean (18). Investigating the difference between attitude toward discipline and future career among students of different semesters and age groups revealed no significant difference. Accordingly, no significant statistical difference was also realized between male and female students regarding the attitude toward discipline. But a statistically significant difference was observed between genders considering the attitude toward future career (P=0.037). Conclusion: This study showed that dental students of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences are interested in their discipline whereas their attitude toward future career was not desirable. This represents their anxiety toward future career.
