fa بررسی نگرش وعملکرد دندانپزشکان استان اصفهان نسبت به بیماران آلوده به عفونتهایHIV و HBV ساير موارد other پژوهشی اصیل Original research article مقدمه: علی‌رغم هشدارهای جدی در مورد احتمال انتقال آلودگی به بیماران، کارکنان دندانپزشکی به مراتب بیشتر در معرض ابتلا به عفونت از طریق بیماران هستند. از آنجا که باورها و رفتارهای حرفه‌ای دندانپزشکان در ارتقای سلامت خود و جامعه نقش مهمی دارد، هدف این پژوهش بررسی نگرش و عملکرد دندانپزشکان استان اصفهان در مورد بیماریهای ایدز و هپاتیت B بود. روش‌ها: در مطالعه‌ای توصیفی-مقطعی تعداد 237 نفر از دندانپزشکان استان اصفهان در سال 1387 به صورت نمونه‌گیری خوشه‌ای تصادفی انتخاب شدند. پرسشنامه‌ای محقق ساخته در مورد نگرش و عملکرد دندانپزشکان نسبت به بیماران HIV و HBS مثبت تهیه و بین آنان در مطب‌ها، کلینک‌های خصوصی و دولتی به صورت حضوری توزیع و جمع‌آوری گردید. داده‌ها با آمار توصیفی و آزمون‌های ANOVA و t مستقل تجزیه و تحلیل شد. نتایج: میانگین نمره کل نگرش 95/46 از کل نمره 75 و عملکرد 19/46 از کل نمره 54 به دست آمد. نگرش دندانپزشکان متخصص نسبت به دندانپزشکان عمومی به طور معنا‌داری بالاتر بود (001/0p>) و سایر متغیرهای دموگرافیک ارتباطی با نگرش و عملکرد نداشتند. عملکرد دندانپزشکان در مطب‌های خصوصی نسبت به کلینیک‌ها به طور معناداری ضعیف‌تر بود (05/0p>). نتیجه‌گیری: عملکرد دندانپزشکان در رابطه با کنترل عفونت تاحدی قابل قبول و نگرش آنان در مورد بیماری‌های ایدز و هپاتیت B ضعیف است. بنابراین برگزاری دوره‌هایی برای رفع ترس و نگرانی و راهنمایی دندانپزشکان نسبت به بیماری‌های ایدز و هپاتیت B پیشنهاد می‌شود. Introduction: Despite serious warnings about the possibility of infection transmission to patients, dental staffs are more at risk of cross infection. Since dentists&rsquo; attitude and professional behavior plays an important role in their health promotion and community, the aim of this investigation was to assess the attitude and practice of dentists of Isfahan in relation to HIV Methods: In a descriptive &ndash; cross sectional study, 237 dentists from Isfahan (Iran) were selected by randomized cluster sampling. A questionnaire regarding the dentist&rsquo;s attitude and practice in relation with HIV and HBV infected patients was prepared. The questionnaires were distributed in private and public clinics and offices. Data analysis was done by descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and T test. (&alpha;=0.05) Results: Mean total score of attitude and practice were 46.95 and 46.19, respectively (total score was 75 and 54). Score of specialist dentists&rsquo; attitude were significantly higher than general dentists&rsquo; attitude (P<0.001). Other demographic variables did not have significant impact in attitude and practice. Score of dentist in private office in comparison with clinics were significantly lower (P<0.05). Conclusion: Compliance of dentists in relation to proper infection control is good and partly acceptable but their attitude about AIDS & HBV is poor.
