fa نظرات دانشجویان دندان‌پزشکی شیراز نسبت به میزان دستیابی آنها به اهداف یادگیری در دروس مختلف ارتودنسی ساير موارد other پژوهشی اصیل Original research article مقدمه: ارزشیابی یک فرایند مستمر می‌باشد که درک، ارتقای یادگیری دانشجویان و تغییرات لازم برای دستیابی به اهداف آموزشی را مورد توجه قرار می‌دهد. هدف مطالعه حاضر بررسی توانمندی دانشجویان دندان‌پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شیراز از طریق تعیین نظرات آنان نسبت به میزان دستیابی به اهداف یادگیری دروس نظری و عملی ارتودنسی در سال تحصیلی 87-1386 بود. روش‌ها: در این مطالعه مقطعی-توصیفی که در سال تحصیلی 87-86 انجام شد، 122 دانشجوی دندان‌پزشکی (86 زن و 36 مرد) که در حال گذراندن دوره‌های آموزشی ارتودنسی نظری (1، 2 و 3) و عملی (1، 2، 3 و 4) بودند، به عنوان جمعیت مورد مطالعه، در نظر گرفته شدند. پرسشنامه‌هایی در هر یک از دروس ارتودنسی طراحی گردید و در اختیار دانشجویان قرار گرفت. نهایتاً نمره‌ای که هر دانشجو به توانمندی خود در هر یک از پرسشنامه‌ها داد، از امتیاز صد محاسبه گردید. اطلاعات براساس شاخص توصیفی آمار که شامل میانگین، انحراف معیار، آنالیز واریانس یک طرفه و آزمون Tukey HSD بود، مورد تجزیه و تحلیل آماری شد. نتایج: میانگین نمرات توافق دانشجویان برای توانمندی دستیابی به اهداف درس ارتودنسی نظری 1، 2 و 3 به ترتیب 6/76، 6/72 و 8/76 از نمره 100 و برای دروس ارتودنسی عملی 1، 2، 3 و 4 به ترتیب 6/77، 8/70، 8/75 و 4/68 از نمره 100 بود. دروس ارتودنسی نظری 3 و عملی 1 بهترین توافق کسب توانمندی و دروس نظری 2 و عملی 4 کمترین توافق کسب توانمندی را از نظر دانشجویان کسب نمودند. نتیجه‌گیری: از دیدگاه دانشجویان توانمندی آنها در دستیابی به اهداف آموزشی ارتودنسی مطلوب است. با این وجود، با مشخص شدن نقاط ضعف و قوت دانشجویان در هر یک از دروس ارتودنسی به نظر می‌رسد برای برنامه آموزشی این بخش نیاز به بازنگری و رفع نقایص باشد. Introduction: Evaluation is an ongoing process which contemplates students' recognition, their learning promotion, and the necessary changes for achieving educational objectives. The aim of this study was to examine the capabilities of dental students of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences through determining their viewpoints toward the amount of their achievement to learning objectives of practical and theoretical courses of orthodontics in academic year of 2007-2008. Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study performed in academic year of 2007-2008, 122 dental students (86 female and 36 male) passing the courses of theoretical orthodontics (1, 2, and 3) and practical orthodontics (1, 2, 3, and 4) were selected as study sample. Questionnaires were developed for each one of the orthodontics courses and delivered to the students. At the end, each score given to the ability mentioned in the questionnaire by the students themselves was calculated based on total score of one hundred. The data was analyzed based on descriptive statistics indices including mean, standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance, and Tukey HSD. Results: The mean of students' agreement for ability to achieve the objectives of the courses of theoretical orthodontics 1, 2, and 3 were 76.6, 72.6, and 76.8 respectively (out of total score of one hundred). For the courses of practical orthodontics 1, 2, 3, and 4 they were 77.6, 70.8, 75.8, and 68.4, respectively. The courses of theoretical orthodontics 3 and practical orthodontics 1 had the best agreement in achievement ability and the courses of theoretical orthodontics 2 and practical orthodontics 4 had the lowest agreement in achievement ability according to the students' viewpoints. Conclusion: From the students' viewpoints, their ability in achieving educational objectives of orthodontics is desirable.
