People with high emotional intelligence are efficient, productive and useful. This study compared management capabilities of health services management students and medical students based on indicators of emotional intelligence. Methods: This is descriptive analytical study. One hundred Health Management and medical students were selected in Isfahan University of medical science in 1385. Emotional intelligence was assessed using open questionnaires. Data analysis was done by SPSS software with t test and Pearson correlation. Results: Between emotional intelligence in Health Management and Medical students (in each scale and total score) was not significantly different. Conclusion: Based on these results, management ability in health care management students and medical students cannot be determine based on indicators of emotional intelligence. Other researchers are recommended to review other variables.
